Colin Stilwell is a dance artist, educator, choreographer, filmmaker, and licensed massage therapist. His work creates a space where people can recognize and appreciate the subtle relationships between movement, awareness, and well-being.
He draws connections between modern and contemporary dance, dance improvisation, the body's anatomical systems, and the natural world to inspire one's well-being, creativity, imagination, and artistry. These influences enrich his work and offer students and clients a deeper appreciation for themselves, their bodies, and the world around them.
Colin received his massage therapy training and certification from the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, New York. His extensive background in modern and contemporary dance, combined with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts in Dance, Performance, and Teaching, deeply informs his understanding of movement, anatomy, posture, and body awareness.
At the heart of Colin's work is the belief that healing and well-being arise through awareness, movement, and presence. Whether working with individuals experiencing physical tension, stress, or simply seeking a deeper connection with their bodies, he strives to create a calm and supportive environment where clients can slow down, listen, and rediscover balance through thoughtful touch and mindful attention.
